What size should an Instagram image be?
The common sizes are 1080 × 1080 (1:1 square), 1080 × 1350 (4:5 portrait, which takes the most feed space) and 1080 × 1920 (9:16 for Stories and Reel covers). Pick them in the tool and download all three at once.
How do I resize one image for several platforms at once?
Upload the image, tick every size you need (or use a preset bundle such as Feed posts), check each preview, then download them individually or as a single ZIP.
How do I avoid cropping important parts of my photo?
In Fill mode, drag a preview to move the crop. Or switch to "Fit + blurred background" or "Fit + solid color" to keep the entire image visible with no cropping.
Will resizing reduce the quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Enlarging a small image can look soft, so the tool flags any output that has to be enlarged. For best results start from the largest version you have.
Why does Bluesky or Mastodon reject my banner?
Profile images have file-size caps as well as pixel sizes. Turn on "Shrink files to fit the platform's upload cap" and the tool lowers JPG/WebP quality just enough to fit, showing the final file size.
Are my images uploaded to your servers?
No. Resizing happens in your browser using your own device, so the image never leaves it.
Which file formats are supported?
You can upload JPG, PNG or WebP (other formats depend on your browser). You can export as JPG, PNG or, in browsers that support it, WebP. JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white.
Are the sizes always correct?
They are the commonly recommended upload sizes at the time of writing. Platforms adjust their layouts from time to time, so confirm on the platform's help page if an exact size matters.
