How to use ChatGPT with CrossPostingPal
- Create your CrossPostingPal account and connect the social accounts you want to use.
- In ChatGPT on the web, use developer mode to add a custom MCP app if your account or workspace allows it. Use the endpoint below and OAuth authentication.
- Sign in to CrossPostingPal and review the requested permissions. MCP access depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings.
- Ask ChatGPT to list your connected social accounts before creating a draft. Review that draft in CrossPostingPal before scheduling it.

Do I need to copy an API token into ChatGPT?
The custom MCP app uses OAuth: sign in to CrossPostingPal and review the requested permissions. You do not paste a personal access token into the conversation.
Is CrossPostingPal a public ChatGPT directory listing?
This guide describes adding a custom MCP app. It does not require or claim a public directory listing. Developer mode availability depends on your account and workspace.
Which social networks can I connect?
New connections are currently available for Instagram, TikTok, X, Bluesky, Mastodon, Dribbble. Instagram, TikTok and Dribbble require media; scheduling and publishing support varies by account. Check the account capabilities before choosing a destination.
Does creating a draft publish anything?
A draft stays unpublished until you schedule or publish it. Scheduling authorizes publication at the selected time; it does not add a mandatory approval step. Review first, then schedule. Immediate MCP publishing requires the separate posts:publish permission.
