Connect through remote MCP with OAuth

Turn your OpenCode progress into a build-in-public update.

Your agent has the context for the work you just finished. Give it the public milestones and let it prepare an honest progress update, then send reviewed copy to CPP.

No credit card required.

Public milestones and a shipped diff

Review the copy and destinations

Create drafts through your MCP connection.

A progress update grounded in actual changes

Choose a time after review. CrossPostingPal publishes scheduled posts at that time.

A publishing workflow for OpenCode

  1. Step 1

    Pick a public milestone

Ask OpenCode to explain one completed change in plain language. Separate shipped behavior from plans and omit internal details.

  2. Step 2

    Review the public story

Choose the angle and real destination accounts. Approve wording and public links before creating drafts.

  3. Step 3

    Plan the next update

Create drafts through MCP and schedule approved times. Keep the post IDs for status checks before your next progress report.

How to use OpenCode with CrossPostingPal

  1. Connect your social accounts in CPP.
  2. Merge the configuration below into your OpenCode opencode.json. Use the global config location for access across projects; preserve existing entries.
  3. Run opencode mcp auth crosspostingpal and complete CPP OAuth sign-in. OpenCode discovers the authorization server and registers the client automatically.
  4. Start OpenCode, list your CPP accounts and create one reviewed progress draft. Inspect the draft before scheduling.

Start with this prompt

Add your source material and review the result before scheduling.

Summarize this shipped milestone as a build-in-public post using public facts and this URL. List my CPP accounts and propose distinct X and Mastodon versions. After copy approval, create drafts and return IDs. Wait for confirmation of dates and timezone before scheduling.

Before you connect

Do I need an OAuth client ID?

CPP supports dynamic client registration. OpenCode discovers the OAuth server and handles registration when you authenticate the remote server.

Does CPP receive my whole repository?

CPP receives the post text, media, account IDs and scheduling parameters the agent sends. This connection does not upload the repository. Ask the agent to use public changes and approved copy.

Which social networks can I connect?

New connections are currently available for Instagram, TikTok, X, Bluesky, Mastodon, Dribbble. Instagram, TikTok and Dribbble require media; scheduling and publishing support varies by account. Check the account capabilities before choosing a destination.

Does creating a draft publish anything?

A draft stays unpublished until you schedule or publish it. Scheduling authorizes publication at the selected time; it does not add a mandatory approval step. Review first, then schedule. Immediate MCP publishing requires the separate posts:publish permission.
